My name is Jason Stomps, and I have been passionate about flying drones since January 2017. Over the past nearly 8 years, I have accumulated hundreds of hours of flight experience, including the DJI Mavic, Mini, and FPV series drones. My journey has taken me all over Michigan and beyond, including Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Florida, Arizona, California, and Hawaii. In July 2024, I achieved a significant milestone by scoring a perfect 100% on the Part 107 sUAG Exam, earning my FAA certification, and launching Thumb Drone.

In the short term, I aim to acquire the next gen thermal drone to enhance our technical capabilities and provide even higher levels of service. Long-term, I plan to obtain State and Federal certifications to venture into the agricultural drone spraying and spreading industry, offering innovative and affordable solutions for modern farming challenges, backed by over a decade of agricultural experience.
